This is the place where you can personalize your profile!
But, how?
By moving, adding and personalizing widgets.
You can drag and drop to rearrange.
You can edit widgets to customize them.
The bottom has widgets you can add!
Some widgets you can only access when you get a premium membership.
Some widgets have options that are only available when you get a premium membership.
We've split the page into zones!
Certain widgets can only be added to certain zones.
"Why," you ask? Because we want profile pages to have freedom of customization, but also to have some consistency. This way, when anyone visits a deviant, they know they can always find the art in the top left, and personal info in the top right.
Don't forget, restraints can bring out the creativity in you!

Im a new guy on the block, finished my study in graphic design but find it very boring and strict, decided to do digital painting becuz painting is wat I like, still slowly learning my ways around since Im currently in South Africa and we hav very little digital art community / good mentors here, kind of need to learn everything on my own, hence progress is slow, but step by step surely I wil get somewhere one day...
other than painting, I practice martial art extensively, play games heavily and study philosophy constantly, I feel a connection in everything I do, as how I wil strike and block my target in combat is no different from how I compose my layout and lay down the strokes and colours for my painting, nor does it differ from the philosophies I study, everything seem to b abt the tension and balance between the polar extremes, constantly shifting, contrasting and harmonizing

To Infernomonster even though he most likely wont read this :
Sorry to disappoint u kid, but I jus spoke to Kekai via email yesterday, apperantly he doesnt think I plagiarised his work, sure I was influenced and inspired by that painting of his, but that and plagiarism aint the same thing.
Yes I didnt "giv a !@#$" to change the composition, but that along with the overall theme is wat strike me the most, and being my first attempt at painting such subject matter, I decided to use those as guide lines, but everything else I made an efford to create my own. Why don u go look at my second attempt at this genre and tell me who did I plagiarise this time?
And please keep in mind that I did not come here to pretend to be some great artist, Im jus simply sharing the pieces that I hav done, I don expect u to accept my work nor do I want to, if u don like it then don visit my page, but please get ur definition on the word "plagiarism" correct first before bashing people with it.
I dono where u got this idea from, or where u learnt the definition of "copying artwork", but u really should at least try to get ur facts straight before insulting people.
I hav jus spoken with Kekai over email yesterday, asking his opinion on this matter, sending him that artwork of mine, and he doesnt think it classify as copying or plagiarism, sure I was inspired by his painting and decided to try something similar, but that and "copying artwork" are two very different things.
So I suggest u apologize for the rude comment and instead of finding people to flame online, rather spend the time and improve ur own skills.
However I did what I did without thinking of what I was doing because I actually hate art thiefs, I'm not really sorry. Is it trully that hard for you to just imagine a battlefield?
Therefore, I won't apologise.
Enjoy drawing anime, not that anime is art anyway.
So u do things without actually thinking or knowing wat u doing? seriously man is that even a valid excuse? Sure u can hate art thiefs all u like, but u see the problem is Im not actually an art thief, even the original author who u accuse me of stealing from doesnt think Im stealing from him, and yet u can stil insist that I stole from him? this is a very funny logic u got there.
Is it really that hard to imagine a battlefield? yes it is for me, becuz that was my first attempt at painting something with that theme, I wanted some kind of guideline so I know wat am aim for, its jus like if u wana paint human u gotta use guidelines of a real human figure first, don tell me u paint figures out of ur own head since the first time.
And wats up with the hate for anime? and who are u to say wat is art? hav u even studied art history and know wat postmodern masters has been saying abt the definition of art? please don be so ignorant especially on a site abt art, and btw why would I enjoy drawing anime anyway, beside my old storyboard do u even see much anime here? seriously ur logic is amusing.
You're a filthy art thief plagaryzing the work of other artists by simply painting over. you don't even give enough of a fuck to change the composition.
Example of shit you've painted over can be found here:[link]
